Mission in Motion Financial Assistance
Program Overview
Mission in Motion reduces the financial burdens that prevent children and youth from participating in dance classes and performing opportunities. The intent of Mission in Motion is to go beyond single-day or short-term outreach efforts and instead offer regularly scheduled dance education for children to fully participate in our program.
Assistance is available for children ages 3-18 (pre-school through grade 12) for tuition, uniform, and costume expenses. Applications are reviewed on a sliding scale designed to fit each individual’s financial situation. In order to foster a sense of ownership, you will be asked to pay a portion of the fees.
Funding for Mission in Motion is made possible through generous donations from the public, our dancer’s families and donors to the Mission in Motion fundraising campaign, and special events. Currently, we offer partial assistance based on availability of funds. Please note that Modern Motion will never reimburse for monies paid; it will however apply funds to a dancer’s account.
Modern Motion admits students of any race, age, color, sexual orientation, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, sexual orientation, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships, and other school-administered programs.
